Just to add re: the new automatic draft registration. This was passed in the NDAA and was bipartisan. It simply streamlines an already existing requirement. There’s plenty to be upset about, i don’t think this is one

I will say on the automatic draft registration: this is really a nothing burger. Every man has to register when they turn 18. If they don’t they can get penalties. This automates that. There is no active draft and this isn’t one
